About Nano Banana Pro

Nano Banana Pro is Google's Gemini image model. It is strongest at photoreal people: skin, hair, fabric and lighting hold up at close range, and the same face can be carried through a series of edits or scenes without turning into a different person. It also accepts several reference images at once, so a character, an outfit and a location can each be supplied separately and combined.

Most prompts on this page are portrait and fashion work: editorial headshots, lookbook shots of one model in several outfits, couple and group photos built from individual references, and relit or re-costumed versions of a source photo. Product-on-person shots and realistic lifestyle scenes are also common. The model is capable of illustration and stylization, but the prompts that spread on X are the ones where the result could pass as a real photograph and the subject stayed recognizably the same across images.

Prompting tips

• Supply reference images for identity and describe only the new context in text; re-describing the face invites drift.
• Name the photographic setup (lens feel, light source, time of day). It responds to photography language more than art terms.
• For a series, reuse the same reference set and change one variable per image (outfit, location, pose) to keep continuity.
