About Claude Opus 5.5
Claude Opus 5.5 is not a video model. The clips in this collection were made by asking Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5, usually through Claude Code, to write the program that draws every frame — Three.js and WebGL scenes, p5.js and Canvas sketches, GSAP motion graphics, Remotion compositions, Manim explainers — and then rendering that program to video. Creators describe the result as "every frame is code": there is no diffusion step, no stock footage, and the whole piece can be regenerated or edited by changing the prompt or the code.
That changes what a good prompt looks like. Instead of describing a camera move, the prompts here brief a developer: the subject and mood, the duration and aspect ratio, the rendering stack, the pacing of scenes, and what the typography and colour system should feel like. Many creators run a single long prompt and let the model plan the storyboard, check contact sheets and render out thousands of frames on its own, which is why so many posts are tagged one prompt. The prompts are copied here as the creators shared them so you can run the same brief in your own Claude Code session.
Prompting tips
- Name the stack up front (for example "single-file Three.js, no build step" or "Remotion 4 with React Three Fiber"); without it the model picks whatever is simplest and the look drifts between runs.
- Give a duration, frame rate and aspect ratio, and ask for scenes with timestamps — the model paces the animation from that outline rather than from adjectives.
- Ask it to render a contact sheet or a few still frames first and only then the full clip; reviewing stills is the cheapest place to fix composition and colour before a long render.
