Cristiano Ronaldo Warhol Style Sports Poster

{argument name="subject" default="Cristiano Ronaldo"} sports poster, the concept — a single photograph printed in four completely different color treatments — side by side — divided into four equal vertical strips — each strip the same image — each strip a different color world — {argument name="art logic" default="Andy Warhol Marilyn logic"} — but applied to sports photography not celebrity portraiture — the repetition reveals — that he is simultaneously many things — and always the same thing, the photograph — full body — {argument name="pose" default="mid bicycle kick"} — body fully inverted — shot from below — the most architecturally complex silhouette a body can make — all four strips show this same moment — but in four realities, strip one — left — background warm cream Pantone 9183C — figure in deep charcoal — almost monochrome — one accent — signal red Pantone 485C — on the boot making contact — and on the number 7 — the design language of Images 2 3 4 — technical — precise — information annotations in the cream zones, strip two — background electric cobalt Pantone 2728C — figure in white — high contrast — reversed out — white silhouette on blue — Yves Klein territory — pure color pure form — no details — just the shape he makes — in the upper zone of the blue — white Japanese kanji — 空 — kū — void — sky — air — the element he masters, strip three — background deep forest green Pantone 349C — figure in warm gold Pantone 130C — the Portugal colors — inverted from their usual relationship — green and gold — not green and red — the color of money — the color of victory — the color of what he has accumulated — trophies rendered as small gold silhouettes in the green background zones, strip four — right — background absolute black — figure in vermillion Pantone 179C — the most aggressive strip — the heat strip — his silhouette burning — like a thermal image — like a heat signature — the body as energy source — as engine — as system running at maximum, between strips — dividing lines — 1px — alternating between bone white and signal red — thin but present — the seams of four realities — the frame of a contact sheet — the grid of a color separation, across all four strips — running full poster width — ignoring the strip divisions — one typographic element — positioned at exact vertical center — RONALDO — in a different color on each strip — red on cream — white on blue — black on gold — gold on black — the name changing its appearance — never changing its meaning, bottom of poster — below all four strips — a single unifying band — black — full width — containing in white — Helvetica Neue Light — 8pt tracking 600 — four statements — one per strip — separated by thin rules — DISCIPLINE / ARTISTRY / OBSESSION / LEGEND, the band unifies what the strips separate — one man — four dimensions — all true — simultaneously.
